These are the terms and conditions which govern your use of the BigHair.co.uk web site. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions, do not use this web site. If you do use the web site, your conduct indicates that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions. BigHair.co.uk reserves the right to amend any of the terms and conditions at any time, and will notify you beforehand. You are advised to regularly review these terms and conditions.

1) BigHair Accounts
Only one BigHair Account will be issued per person.

If we terminate your BigHair Account for one of the reasons outlined above we reserve the right to withold any BigHair CashBack owed to you. If we terminate your BigHair Account for any other reason you will be paid in full.

2) BigHair CashBack Payments
The size of the BigHair CashBack payment for each retailer will be indicated on the BigHair.co.uk web site. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that the CashBack amounts indicated are correct, BigHair.co.uk accepts no responsibility for this and reserves the right to change these at any time.

In order to receive BigHair CashBack payments, you must have registered with and logged onto BigHair.co.uk and must have accessed your chosen retailer’s web site via the appropriate link in the members’ area of BigHair.co.uk. Transactions made via the BigHair.co.uk web site are logged electronically by retailers or their chosen agents, allowing BigHair.co.uk to update your transactions list in your My BigHair section. If a transaction does not appear within 30 days then please contact us and we will check on the transaction. In the event that the retailer or their chosen agent does not log your transaction, ceases trading or delays payment, BigHair.co.uk shall not be liable, but will endeavour to retrieve the CashBack payment from the retailer or their chosen agent on your behalf. It must be noted, however, that the retailer’s decision, or that of their chosen agent, on this matter is final.

BigHair.co.uk shall not be liable for or responsible in any way for any interaction or transactions between you and retailers featured on the BigHair web site. Your BigHair Account will not be credited with your CashBack payment until the retailer or their chosen agent has confirmed that your transaction has gone through. Often this can take in excess of 30 days because many retailers do not process transactions until the returns period on purchases has come to an end. In the event that the transaction is reversed you will not receive the BigHair CashBack payment.

BigHair CashBack payments will be made once your BigHair Account balance exceeds £10 (up to 30 days in arrears). BigHair.co.uk reserves the right to withhold payments in the event that money has not been received from the retailers or their chosen agents. In this case, once the money has been received from the retailers or their agents, and provided your BigHair Account balance is in excess of £10, BigHair.co.uk will endeavour to make BigHair CashBack payments as soon as possible.

3) Competitions
The following rules apply to all the competitions that appear on BigHair.co.uk. In addition to these rules there may be special terms and conditions which apply to individual competitions. In such cases, these will be noted in the relevant competition description.

BigHair.co.uk is a UK site and unless otherwise stated all competitions are open to UK residents only. Only one entry per person per competition can be accepted unless otherwise stated. Persons connected with BigHair.co.uk or any of the competition sponsors are ineligible.

Winners will be selected at random by computer within five working days of the competition closing date and notified by e-mail within three working days, unless otherwise stated. Prizes must be claimed within thirty days of notification. In the event that a prize is not claimed within thirty days of notification, or if a winner fails to comply with these or competition specific terms and conditions, then that winner's prize will be void. In such cases, an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining entrants. All prizes are subject to availability and in the event that a prize becomes unavailable, one of equivalent or greater value will be awarded. Cash prizes will be credited to the winner's BigHair Account within thirty days of a prize claim being received. In the event that the winner does not have a BigHair Account they will be asked to confirm their postal address before prizes are dispatched. Winners will be included on the 'Competitions' page of BigHair.co.uk and winners of major prizes may be required to take part in further promotional activities.

If you would like to enter competitions without registering with BigHair.co.uk please write to :- Competition Entry, BigHair.co.uk, 3 Salters Close, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 5BL, stating the competitions you wish to enter. Entries must be received before the closing date(s) of the competition(s) you wish to enter.

4) Copyright Notices
Unless otherwise specified the copyright in the contents of all the pages in this web site are owned or licensed to BigHair.co.uk or the merchants advertising within. This includes the contents of the web site visible through a browser, and also any JavaScript and PHP code.
